National Informatics Centre, Kullu (Himachal Pradesh) has developed the “goKullu” Mobile App for the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Kullu. The trekker has to register on the app. The trekking routes are mentioned in the app. The user/Trekker has to select the Trek and click on the button. He has to keep his GPS in on position. The app will send his Lat. Long. Which will help the district administration to track his location in case of any emergency.
